In late July 2026, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) intensified its campaign against Education Minister Nara Lokesh over alleged irregularities in the state’s District Selection Committee (DSC) teacher recruitment. The party cited accusations of question-paper leaks, Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) violations, and misuse of sports quotas involving approximately 350,000 aspirants.
