To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy X, Square Enix and its partners have announced several commemorative events and merchandise releases in Japan.

Initial plans include the ‘FINAL FANTASY X 25TH ANNIVERSARY CAFE’, a multi-location event running from September 11 to December 2, 2026. The cafe will operate in Shinjuku, Yokohama, Osaka, and Nagoya, offering themed menu items such as ‘Zanarkand Parent and Child Donburi’ and ‘Yuna’s Fruit Peach Lemonade’.

Supplementing the cafe, Square Enix announced a lottery scheduled for release on September 12 at FamilyMart and official stores. The lottery features various prizes, including character figures, a Blitzball plush, and a music record keychain with an NFC tag. A special ‘End Prize’ featuring a Yuna figure will also be available through the lottery and an ‘Append Chance’ system.
