World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing

The second World Humanoid Robot Games was held from August 22 to 26, 2026, at the National Speed Skating Oval in Beijing. The event involved 2,056 humanoid robots representing 16 countries, competing across 51 disciplines such as soccer, tennis, and various running events. The competition aimed to test hardware durability, balance, and reactivity in unpredictable environments to provide researchers with real-world data for improving artificial intelligence and mobility.

During the games, AGIBOT emerged as the leader of the medal table, securing the top position in both gold and overall counts. The company earned 46 medals, including 18 gold, 16 silver, and 12 bronze. AGIBOT’s performance featured models already in mass production or commercial deployment, such as the OmniHand, G2, A3, and X2. Notable successes included the OmniHand winning seven gold medals in dexterous manipulation tasks, the X2 winning gold in the 100m obstacle race using its proprietary AGILE framework, and the A3 winning gold in a Tai Chi event.
