Multiple fatal traffic accidents have been reported across various regions in Turkey. In Gaziantep, a collision on the Gaziantep-Osmaniye highway involving a midibus and a car near the Nurdağı district resulted in at least seven deaths, including two children, and 16 injuries. Officials, including Gaziantep Deputy Governor İlker Eker, indicated that the fatalities occurred within the car, which reportedly overturned following an improper overtaking maneuver. The highway where the crash occurred has been a subject of long-standing safety concerns and parliamentary debate. Following the incident, Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi and TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş issued condolences. In Antalya, a truck overturned after striking a car and traffic lights on the D-400 highway in the Manavgat district, destroying a bus stop and killing two women. The victims, identified as Arina Dautova from Russia and a citizen from Azerbaijan, were waiting at the stop. The truck driver has been taken into custody. In Karaman, a head-on collision between two cars on a village road left at least two to three people dead and several injured. Investigators noted one vehicle’s speedometer remained at 120 km/h after the impact. In Eskişehir, an ambulance transporting a patient crashed in the Han district, resulting in three injuries. Additionally, a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Kozan, Adana, left one person seriously injured.
