Multiple fatal traffic accidents have been reported across various regions in Turkey.
In Gaziantep, a collision on the Gaziantep-Osmaniye highway involving a midibus and a car near the Nurdağı district resulted in at least seven deaths, including two children, and 16 injuries. In Karaman, a head-on collision between two cars on a village road left at least two to three people dead and several injured. Investigators noted one vehicle’s speedometer remained at 120 km/h after the impact.
In Eskişehir, an ambulance transporting a patient crashed in the Han district, resulting in three injuries. Additionally, a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Kozan, Adana, left one person seriously injured. Recent police inspections in Kozan also resulted in significant fines for traffic violations and several arrests for various crimes.
