Nissan Z Kaze concept unveiling

Overview

Nissan has unveiled the Z Kaze Concept, a one-off prototype based on the Fairlady Z, at the Z Car Club Association’s annual ZCON event. Developed by product planners and designers, the vehicle is intended to evoke 1990s tuning culture and the brand’s convertible heritage.

The concept features a custom T-top roof design, with the name ‘Kaze’ derived from the Japanese word for ‘wind’. The exterior is finished in ‘Pacific Teal’ and includes a lightweight vented carbon fiber hood, flared fenders, and a custom carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit, sitting on restored 18-inch NISMO LMGT2 wheels.

Inside, the vehicle is equipped with custom white leather seats and Bose personal plus headrest speakers. Performance upgrades for the 3.0L V6 twin-turbo engine include GReddy components—such as a Supreme SP exhaust system, a front-mount air-to-air intercooler kit, and an air links air filter kit—alongside NISMO suspension components.
