Audi A6 e-tron electric vehicle range record
Overview
Polish rally driver Miko Marczyk set a new Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled by a production electric vehicle on a single charge. Driving a standard Audi A6 Sportback e-tron performance, Marczyk covered 1,338 kilometers across Poland.
The journey, which lasted over 45 hours, was conducted under real-world traffic conditions on public roads. The route began in Zakopane and passed through cities including Kraków, Warsaw, and Toruń before reaching the Hel Peninsula. To achieve the result, Marczyk utilized efficient driving techniques such as maximizing regenerative braking, particularly in mountainous regions, and maintaining optimal tire pressure.
The vehicle achieved an average energy consumption of 7.09 kWh per 100 kilometers, nearly doubling the model’s official WLTP range of approximately 774 to 777 kilometers. This performance surpassed the previous record of 1,205 kilometers set in 2025 by a Lucid Air Grand Touring.
