Fatal road accidents in Malaysia
Overview
Multiple fatal vehicle collisions have been reported in Malaysia. In Kulai, a mother and daughter died after their Mazda skidded, overturned, and entered an oncoming lane, colliding with a Toyota Vios on the road between Senai International Airport and Pekan Senai.
In Tawau, a mother and her two sons were killed when their vehicle struck an oil palm tree and overturned at Batu 14, Jalan Apas. A 15-year-old girl sustained serious injuries in that incident. Police investigations in both cases are being conducted under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
