Abduction and rape investigation in Agrinio

Overview

Following the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl in Agrinio on September 1, which triggered a Missing Alert from ‘The Smile of the Child’, police located the minor at the residence of a 31-year-old man.

Two men, aged 31 and 32, were arrested and face charges of abduction and gang rape. While the suspects have denied the allegations—with the 31-year-old claiming the encounter was consensual—the girl reported being a victim of the assault.
