The Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2026 initiative has featured various community engagement activities focused on physical activity and motorsport.

During the season, events such as the SEHA Family Run encouraged community participation through various race distances. Additionally, the Active Abu Dhabi program, an initiative of the Emirates Foundation, reported significant engagement through its Summer Camp program, which recorded 15,557 participants across locations including Zayed Higher Organization and the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Looking ahead, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Emirates Motorsports Organization have announced the fourth season of the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge for 2026–2027. This competition will include four rounds held between October 2026 and April 2027 in Tilal Sweihan, Liwa, and Al Ain, providing a platform for emerging talent to compete alongside professionals in several vehicle categories.
