AEW Collision professional wrestling events

During the September 19 episode of AEW Collision at the Charleston Coliseum, several championship matches and storylines were established for the upcoming All Out pay-per-view.

Andrade El Idolo successfully defended his AEW National Championship against Daniel Garcia via a roll-up. Following the match, the Death Riders faction attacked Andrade, and PAC officially challenged him to a National Championship match for All Out 2026.

In other championship action, Darby Allin retained the TNT Championship against Myron Reed using a Coffin Drop. Following his victory, Allin and Steven Borden announced they would compete against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight for the AEW World Tag Team Championship number one contendership at All Out.

Jon Moxley defeated Zachary Wentz in a Continental Championship Eliminator, building momentum for his scheduled AEW World Championship match against Will Ospreay at the same event. Additionally, a match between Thekla and Zayda Steel was set to impact the women’s division; while previous reports suggested the winner might face Willow Nightingale at All Out, recent developments indicate the winner will instead earn a shot at the Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream.

The event also featured a victory for Mike Bailey over Wheeler Yuta and concluded with a large-scale brawl involving the Death Riders, The Dogs, and the Bang Bang Gang, resulting in an eight-man tag team match being scheduled for the All Out Tailgate Brawl pre-show.

Separately, Andrade recently returned to CMLL, reviving his ‘La Sombra’ character for a rematch against Volador Jr. This follows a successful year for the wrestler, which included winning the Men’s Casino Gauntlet at All In: London and earning a guaranteed shot at the AEW World Championship.
