Overview

Agricultural machinery manufacturers Aebi and John Deere have announced new equipment developments. Aebi introduced the Terratrac TT 212, a specialized vehicle for mountain terrain featuring a redesigned hydrostatic drivetrain and a 75 HP Kubota engine.

In preparation for the Agro Show in Bednarach, John Deere highlighted several upcoming premieres. Central to these announcements is the 8R 540 tractor, which utilizes a 634 HP six-cylinder engine and an eAutoPowr continuously variable transmission. Technical details indicate the eAutoPowr system provides smoother acceleration and an 8% improvement in power transfer compared to standard hydromechanical transmissions. The 8R 540 also includes a self-centering steering system and independent front axle suspension. Additionally, updates were noted for the 6M series, which now features the e19 full powershift transmission.
