Albanian education system developments

Overview

In the United Kingdom, more than 40 Albanian language classes have resumed in schools across London and other regions. Organized by the Ardhmëria Association, this initiative focuses on helping children of the Albanian diaspora maintain their linguistic heritage through teacher training and educational materials.

In Albania, more than 1,400 schools have resumed normal operations following recent protests that caused damage to some Ministry of Education offices. Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro stated that staff have maintained functionality through both physical and online work. The Minister has called for dialogue with students and urged parents to discuss the impact of recent violence and vandalism with their children.
