Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale production and custom unveils

Alfa Romeo has launched production of the new 33 Stradale, a modern tribute to its 1967 coupé. Only 33 units are being manufactured via an artisanal process at the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera plant in Turin, utilizing a carbon fiber chassis with aluminum auxiliary elements. The vehicle offers two powertrain options: a V6 biturbo thermal engine producing over 620 hp, capable of reaching 333 km/h, and a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) version with a triple electric motor setup delivering 750 hp.

Expanding the series' exclusivity, the brand unveiled the ‘Perla Nera’ (Black Pearl), a unique one-off version developed by the in-house atelier, Bottega Alfa Romeo. This model features an exposed matte carbon fiber finish with hand-laid fibers in V-shaped and herringbone patterns, which reduced the vehicle's weight by approximately ten kilograms compared to traditional paint. The Perla Nera features a custom dark interior with black Alcantara and is powered by the 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine.

As the brand prepares for the 2026 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for October 12–18, attention remains on the upcoming ‘Cuorerosso’ (Red Heart) concept car. The concept is intended to showcase an emotional design philosophy focused on the connection between driver and machine.

In a notable departure from typical collector behavior, social media footage has highlighted an owner known as ‘Stradalou’ using a 33 Stradale as a daily driver through the streets near Torino, rather than keeping the supercar in a protected garage or using it exclusively for racing.
