The Algiers International Film Festival (AIFF) announced the creation of its inaugural Youth Jury for its 13th edition, which is scheduled to be held in Algiers from December 5 to 12, 2026.

Thirteen Algerian youths between the ages of 18 and 28 will be selected to review films in the festival’s feature, short, and Discovery sections. These members will participate in deliberations to award the Youth Jury Grand Prix and special mentions. Additionally, the jury will contribute to editorial content by producing a critical journal featuring written reviews, filmed interviews, and podcasts for the official festival website.
