Cold Iron Studios, Daybreak Game Company, and 20th Century Games have released the digital version of the co‑op shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 for PlayStation 5 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as of August 26, 2026. The sequel expands squad size from three to four players and features a customizable Specialist class, an expanded Horde mode, and smarter Xenomorph AI. Players acting as Colonial Marines face Xenomorphs, synthetics, and biological weapons. Available editions include a Standard Edition ($49.99) and a 40th Anniversary Premium Edition ($69.99), the latter of which includes the Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack and other DLC.
