Aman expansion into Seoul luxury hospitality

Overview

Aman Group and Shinsegae Property have announced the development of ‘Aman Seoul’, marking the luxury hospitality brand’s first entry into the South Korean market. Located in the Cheongdam-dong district of Gangnam, the project is designed as an ‘urban sanctuary’ overlooking the Han River.

The development will span approximately 70,000 square meters and include a luxury hotel, 49 branded residences, retail and cultural spaces, and the ‘Aman Club’, a private membership community. The architectural design aims to blend Aman’s signature minimalist philosophy with Korean spatial aesthetics and materiality.

Shinsegae Property will manage planning, strategy, and development, while Aman will oversee design and long-term operations. Construction is expected to begin in April 2026, with a projected completion date in late 2030.
