A week later, Braga posted a video in which she opened a box of her late mother’s personal items, describing the experience as emotionally warming. The clip went viral and prompted rumors that she had been hospitalized. Her press office clarified that she had only attended a routine medical appointment and was recovering at home.

On 31 May, reported on 2 August, Braga travelled by helicopter from Globo Studios to Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa in São Paulo for pre‑scheduled examinations, including imaging and clinical evaluations.
