Ancona Calcio Serie C promotion efforts

Overview

In early September, Ancona Calcio presented its 2026/2027 season plan to over two thousand fans, signaling a unified effort between club leadership, the coach, and local officials to achieve an immediate return to Serie C.

By late September, the club’s focus shifted to competitive performance in Serie D. Following a setback against L’Aquila, the team prepared for a match against Angelana to maintain pressure on league leaders. Ancona Vice President Vito Giasi reiterated the club’s ambition to return to Serie C, noting that Serie D is “not a suitable level for the team.” Despite significant investments and player replacements, Giasi acknowledged that season ticket sales have been lower than expected and emphasized the need for local business support and on-field success to re-engage the fanbase.
