Similarly, in Entre Ríos, Civil Defense and San Luis face plummeting temperatures. Volunteer Firefighters are coordinating protocols for the Uruguay River basin to manage potential flooding. Researchers from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) have further warned that El Niño is expected to intensify between September and November, heightening the risk of flooding and heavy rainfall, particularly in the Litoral region and Buenos Aires province. Meanwhile, agricultural authorities in Paraguay and Argentina continue to advise producers to adjust management strategies to mitigate risks from heavy rainfall and nutrient washout.
