Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expanded his administration’s development agenda to include specific welfare and land reform initiatives.

In August 2026, the Chief Minister announced an allocation of Rs 4,764 crore aimed at the development of 27.39 lakh tribal members. The government intends to provide housing and safe drinking water to every tribal family by 2027. Infrastructure projects to support these communities include the ‘Adavi Talli Bata’ road initiative, mobile medical units, and the installation of cell towers to improve digital connectivity.

Regarding land administration, a comprehensive re-survey process is currently underway with a target completion date in 2027. To prevent tampering, the state will issue Pattadar Passbooks utilizing blockchain technology. Additionally, the Chief Minister ordered the removal of 2,745 acres from the prohibited Section 22A registry to resolve disputes for ex-servicemen and farmers.

While the ‘Partners in Nation Building’ movement continues to promote public participation in long-term state goals, the administration faces criticism from the YSRCP opposition. The opposition alleges that the government has neglected law and order, failed to address farmers' issues, and has not fulfilled its election promises.
