Angers SCO player transfers

Overview

Angers SCO has completed two significant player acquisitions for their Ligue 1 campaign.

First, the club secured Portuguese goalkeeper Anthony Lopes. The 35-year-old, who previously played for Olympique Lyonnais and FC Nantes, arrives to succeed Hervé Koffi. Lopes noted in an interview with L’Equipe that while he is “targeted in all the stadiums in France,” he remains committed to fighting for the club to help ensure league survival.

Following this, the club signed 21-year-old left-back Joseph Kalulu from Pau FC. Kalulu, a former Olympique Lyonnais trainee, signed a contract lasting until 2030 for a reported fee of approximately 2 million euros.
