Antonio Mohamed coaching future at Toluca
Overview
Antonio Mohamed, the manager of Toluca, has expressed interest in returning to football in Argentina in the near future. While stating he is happy in Mexico and does not intend to force a departure from Toluca, Mohamed noted he misses his home country and is open to managing any Argentine club except for one unnamed team.
Following speculation regarding his future, Mohamed addressed rumors of an imminent departure during a press conference. He defended his professional reputation against claims that he frequently abandons contracts, citing his tenure at Toluca since December 2024 and his longevity in Liga MX compared to the high turnover of opposing coaches. Mohamed indicated that any decision regarding his continuation will be made in December after the current tournament concludes.
