An explosion occurred on a second floor of an apartment building at 99 Papagou Street in the Zografou area of Athens. While authorities initially deployed the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department (TEEM) due to suspicions of an explosive device, preliminary investigations suggest the blast was likely caused by a household appliance.
