The video game remake ‘Apidya’ Special’, based on the 1992 Commodore Amiga shoot-’em-up, was scheduled for release in late August 2026. Developed by Team Apidya and published by ININ Games, the title was announced to be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Prior to the launch, ININ Games released a countdown trailer and announced physical editions for the Nintendo Switch.
