Overview

Arduino has introduced the VENTUNO Q, an edge AI development board designed for robotics and physical AI. The hardware utilizes a “dual-brain” architecture, combining a Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-8275 processor for high-performance AI tasks—such as computer vision and large language models—with an STM32H5 microcontroller for real-time hardware control.

Following the initial launch and pre-orders, Arduino released version 1.0.0 of its Zephyr-based core. This stable update, built on Zephyr 4.4.1, introduces preemptive threads and a structured device-driver model while supporting eleven different boards, including the VENTUNO Q. Pre-orders for the VENTUNO Q board have reportedly sold out through the Arduino Store.
