Labor opposition to President Javier Milei continues to expand through sector-specific strikes and coordinated mobilizations. Following earlier actions by the CGT, CTA, and UTEP, tensions have escalated in the education and transport sectors. A nationwide university strike was organized for 12 August by the Unión de Docentes Argentinos (UDA) with CGT backing. The protest demands the implementation of the University Funding Law, salary updates, and student scholarships.
