He called on the provincial Chamber of Deputies to amend the law and cited overwhelming local opposition. In the same period, councilor Gerónimo Cabrera in Valle Viejo condemned a recent $40,000 salary increase for municipal workers and demanded financial disclosure, highlighting broader concerns about fiscal management and transparency in Argentine local governments.
