Argentina PAMI health tech initiatives

Overview

In late July 2026, Argentina’s public health insurer PAMI launched a renewed digital platform, Mi PAMI o, that lets retirees schedule in‑person medical appointments online or via mobile, with options for proxy users and easy cancellation. The rollout was accompanied by Hospital Posadas’ new WhatsApp and toll‑free lines to streamline breast‑cancer patient communication.

A week later, the municipality of Tres de Febrero and PAMI were incorporated into the National Stroke Program (PRONAC‑ACV). Using the Ministry of Health’s StrokeApp, the network links emergency services, local providers, and Hospital Posadas to coordinate rapid assessment, geolocation and transfer of stroke patients, aiming to cut treatment delays for PAMI’s 5.4 million beneficiaries.

Together, the initiatives show PAMI expanding digital tools to improve appointment scheduling, cancer follow‑up and emergency stroke care across Argentina.
