Art and photography exhibitions in Italy

Overview

Various art and photography exhibitions are being launched across Italy. In late August, the Gallerie d’Italia announced an autumn program for its museums in Milan, Naples, Turin, and Vicenza, featuring eight new exhibitions. This included a photographic exhibition in Milan titled ‘LIBERE! 1946-2026. Le conquiste delle donne’, which examines eighty years of social and civil changes for women in Italy.

By early September, additional regional photography exhibitions opened. In Bra, the ‘Ricordé’ exhibition at the Zizzola museum showcased the Studio Bruno Risso archive, containing over 30,000 historical images. Simultaneously, the ‘Per Amare San Leo’ exhibition opened at Palazzo Mediceo in San Leo, featuring works by 21 photographers interpreting the history and landscape of the area.
