ASEAN-Korea Innovative Culture Forum

The 2026 ASEAN-Korea Innovative Culture Forum is scheduled for November 7, 2026, at the Ayala Museum in Makati City, Philippines. Co-hosted by the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, and the ASEAN Foundation, the event occurs as the Philippines holds the 2026 ASEAN Chairmanship.

Under the theme “On Human Creative Sovereignty: Shaping the Future of Imagination and Cultural IP,” the forum aims to facilitate dialogue between policymakers and creative leaders from South Korea and 11 ASEAN member states. Discussions will focus on digital transformation, generative artificial intelligence, copyright protection, and cross-border intellectual property economies.

In addition to high-level sessions and keynote addresses, the program includes a contemporary art exhibition from November 7 to November 13, 2026, and a meeting of the ASEAN-Korea Working Group for Innovative Culture on November 8.
