Asian Gym for Life Challenge 2026

Overview

The inaugural Asian Gym for Life Challenge 2026 was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, at the Universitas Gadjah Mada Innovation and Creativity Center. Organized by the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation (FGI) and the Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU), the event brought together 22 groups from seven nations: Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Denmark.

Following the commencement of the championship, which aimed to promote inclusivity and the ‘Gymnastics for All’ philosophy, Sri Lanka emerged as a top performer. The Sri Lankan contingent, comprising 89 young gymnasts, secured Gold Awards for both its National Mixed Team and its National Girls’ Team.
