Overview
On October 11, Jorge Guerrero García, the former mayor of Otatitlán (2014–2017), was assassinated in an armed attack at El Cedral, a restaurant he owned in the Papaloapan Basin region of Veracruz, Mexico.
Armed individuals entered the establishment and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
