Assault at Pat’s King of Steaks

Overview

On September 30, a customer allegedly assaulted a manager at Pat’s King of Steaks in South Philadelphia by throwing a cheesesteak at his face. The individual, who was recorded using a tripod-mounted camera, reportedly claimed the food was “garbage” before the confrontation. Restaurant owner Frank Olivieri suggested the incident may have been a premeditated attempt by an influencer to go viral.

Following the incident, Olivieri offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Subsequently, a Philadelphia man was charged with summary harassment after turning himself in to the police.
