Man arrested in fatal Formentera assault investigation

Overview

A 37-year-old Colombian national, a long-term resident of Formentera, has died following an assault in Es Pujols on September 18. The victim reportedly suffered traumatic brain injuries after a physical altercation with a security guard from a local establishment.

After the fight, the man returned home, but his health declined several days later, leading to his hospitalization in an intensive care unit at the Policlínica Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Ibiza.
