Athletic and community events in Varese

Overview

The Varese region hosted a series of community and sporting activities in late October. The weekend featured the seventh edition of the Varese City Run, which included the ‘Pulciniadi’ youth program involving 450 children from 18 local schools participating in athletic disciplines and educational modules.

As the events progressed, the Varese City Run expanded to include the Varese Half Marathon, the Varese Ten, and a Family Run. This year’s program also introduced the ‘VCR4Charity’, a non-competitive relay designed to support the Renato Piatti and Giacomo Ascoli Foundations.
