Autohellas H1 2026 financial performance

Autohellas, a member of the Vasilakis Group, released its financial results for the first half of 2026. The company reported a turnover of €501 million, a marginal decrease of 0.3% compared to the same period in 2025, while EBITDA rose by 2.6% to €129.7 million. Net profits for the period reached €28.5 million, marking a 12.3% decrease from the previous year.

Performance varied across the group’s divisions. The Hertz division, which encompasses car and airline activities, saw turnover growth of 6.7% in Greece and 10.6% internationally. Conversely, the car trading and services division in Greece experienced a 6.6% decline in turnover, totaling €267.2 million. This decline was attributed to a lack of model updates from traditional brands such as Hyundai and Kia, alongside increased competition from new Chinese manufacturers entering the Greek market.

To address these competitive shifts, Autohellas is introducing new Chinese brands, including Lepas, Avatr, Changan, and Xpeng. The group currently manages a fleet of approximately 68,700 vehicles, having invested in 13,400 new cars during the first half of the year.
