Azerbaijan international cooperation developments

Overview

Azerbaijan has engaged in various bilateral efforts to strengthen international cooperation in specialized fields.

In late September, Azerbaijani officials expressed interest in expanding forensic science cooperation with Turkey. During a congress in Antalya, representatives from the Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice Forensic Sciences Center highlighted the importance of leveraging the expertise of the Turkish Forensic Medicine Institute and launching new projects within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.

By mid-October, Azerbaijan shifted focus toward law enforcement and security cooperation with Iran.
