Badung landslide at Bali glamping site
Overview
A landslide triggered by heavy rainfall struck the Pelaga Eco Park in the Badung district of Bali on the night of November 1, 2026. The disaster destroyed several glamping accommodations, including one unit that was swept away by a river current and three others that collapsed.
Of the 23 guests present at the time, 21 were successfully evacuated. Two individuals, identified as a 27-year-old Indonesian national and a 56-year-old German national, remained missing after being swept into the Tukad Yeh Tilap river.
Search and rescue operations, involving the Basarnas agency, local teams, and police search dogs, expanded the search radius to approximately 2.5 kilometers along the river. Efforts have been complicated by unstable ground, additional landslides, and torrential rain.
