On August 21, 2026, Secretary Pulido Saavedra informed the State Congress that approximately 92% of the initial Green Bond resources are already committed to hydraulic works. The Mexicali State Public Services Commission (CESPM) reported a total investment exceeding 662 million pesos for the 2024-2027 period, including roughly 168 million pesos for the Mexicali Drain piping project, which is expected to benefit nearly 198,000 residents. In Tecate, the State Public Services Commission (CESPTE) presented Green Bond-funded projects developed in collaboration with the North American Development Bank (NadBank). These include over 280 million pesos for ecological and water infrastructure, specifically the rehabilitation and expansion of the La Nopalera water treatment plant to double its purification capacity.
