Baldur's Gate 3 fan-made expansions

Overview

The Baldur’s Gate 3 modding community has released new expansions for the PC version of the game.

Initially, modder SquallyDaBeanz entered the ‘Act Two Expansion’ into public beta. This project, developed over nearly two years, introduces ‘The Chionthar Wilds,’ a new explorable region intended to bridge the Shadow-Cursed Lands and Rivington. The expansion includes new quests, dungeons, combat encounters, and NPCs, specifically designed for parties at levels 8–10.

Following this, a second significant expansion, ‘The Sunless Citadel’ by modder Batilfly, was released via Nexus Mods. This mod provides a linear, dungeon-focused experience lasting seven to eight hours. While it lacks a minimap and camp system, it supports cooperative play and utilizes a custom teleportation system for navigation.
