Bandai Gashapon brand expansion in Japan

To mark the achievement, the company launched a promotional campaign on X from September 7 to September 20, offering coupons for online capsule toy play to 300 selected participants.

Additionally, Bandai Namco Experience, Bandai Namco Amusement, and West Nippon Expressway Service Holdings opened a new Gashapon Bandai Official Shop at the Utgeo Parking Area on the E2 Sanyo Expressway. Described as one of the largest capsule toy specialty stores located within a service area, the facility features 280 machine slots and operates 24 hours a day.

Furthering this expansion, Bandai Namco Experience and Bandai Namco Amusement announced a large-scale Gashapon Bandai Official Shop at the Aeon Town Mito Minami shopping center in Ibaraki Prefecture. Scheduled to open on September 18, 2026, within the TSUTAYA Aeon Town Mito Minami store, the facility will feature 330 machines. The shop will offer real-time product availability searches via the official website and a service for customers to pick up items purchased through the official online store at the physical counter.
