Bandai merchandise and model kit releases

Premium Bandai and BANDAI SPIRITS have announced several new product releases and re-issues for collectors. In early August, Premium Bandai opened reservations for a 14-piece ChiiKawa character magnet set and a limited re-issue of the MG 1/100 Gundam Heavy Arms EW model.

Later in August, BANDAI SPIRITS announced an Entry Grade series featuring ‘Ukiyoe Package Ver.’ designs inspired by traditional Japanese woodblock prints, including models such as the RX-78-2 Gundam. The announcement also noted the availability of the HG 1/144 Gundam Lfrith Thorn through various retailers.

In late August, Bandai announced the re-release of the ‘Gundam Superior Define’ candy toy series, scheduled for February 2027, which includes five mobile suits such as Wing Gundam Zero EW and High Gogg. Other hobby updates include the re-release of a 1/8 scale Rei Ayanami plastic model kit from ‘Evangelion’ featuring a vignette design with Longinus' Spear. Additionally, new model kits from ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury’ and ‘Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon’ are becoming available through retailers such as AmiAmi.
