The International Crimes Tribunal in Bangladesh has issued several significant rulings against former government officials and Awami League leaders. In one case, the tribunal ordered the imprisonment of former Member of Parliament Abdur Rahman Badi, along with three military officers, regarding the 2018 killing of Teknaf municipal councilor Ekramul Haque. The court also called for the surrender of seven fugitives, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.
