Batman Petrolspor secured a 4-2 victory against İstanbulspor in a Trendyol Süper Lig week 10 match at Batman Şehir Stadium. The win ended a three-match losing streak for Batman Petrolspor, bringing their total to 19 points and moving them into fourth place in the league. The match involved several VAR interventions, including a disallowed offside goal and a red card for the Batman Petrolspor goalkeeper that was overturned upon review. Goals for the home side were scored by Rahman Buğra Çağıran, Gökhan Altıparmak, and Biron. İstanbulspor's goals were provided by Cham and Fall, leaving them in 19th place with 5 points. Following the victory, head coach Selçuk Şahin expressed satisfaction with the team's offensive productivity, noting they scored four goals and created several clear scoring opportunities. However, he highlighted defensive vulnerabilities, stating that conceding goals despite having control of the match was a concern requiring correction. Batman Petrolspor is now preparing for an away match against league leaders Kayserispor. The squad expects a boost with the return of Polat Yaldır from injury, while Pedrinho and Mücahit are available following the end of their suspensions. The upcoming match in Kayseri will be officiated by Asen Albayrak, with 2,000 seats allocated for traveling supporters.
