BBC Celebrity Traitors competition developments

Overview

Developments in the BBC reality series ‘The Celebrity Traitors’ include the elimination of several contestants. Bella Ramsey was murdered by Traitors Maya Jama, James Acaster, and Hannah Fry, though Ramsey expressed support for Acaster following the exit. Additionally, participant Julie Hesmondhalgh was banished following a roundtable discussion.

James Acaster later clarified the circumstances surrounding Hesmondhalgh’s banishment, noting that the televised edit omitted the true cause. While the broadcast suggested singer James Blunt led the campaign against her due to her receiving a shield, Acaster stated the conflict actually stemmed from a misunderstanding regarding the sharing of theories. Hesmondhalgh had pointed out that Blunt was not sharing his own theories, which Blunt perceived as evidence of lying.
