Beşiktaş has further characterized Kum as a “paid executor” who published the decision approximately one hour and 40 minutes before official club notification. The club maintains that the journalist targeted the player to harm the organization. Amidst the dispute, Beşiktaş coach Dušan Alimpijević expressed pride in Vlahović, stating the player “represents us Serbs” and emphasizing the importance of character within the team.
