Belém Gastronomy Seal Program Extension

Overview

The municipal government of Belém, through the Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Administração da Área Metropolitana de Belém (Codem), has prolonged the registration period for the Selo Belém Gastronomia program until 3 August 2026. The initiative seeks to certify 40 restaurants, bars, markets and food producers that showcase regional Amazonian cuisine and the city’s culinary identity.

Selected participants will receive an official certificate, a brand‑application manual, and inclusion in an official catalogue of Belém’s gastronomic references. They will also take part in institutional promotion, events and future tourism routes organized by the city.

Technical evaluation of applications will take place from 20 to 31 August, with the final list of certified establishments announced on 14 September 2026.
