Italian food blogger Benedetta Rossi and her husband, Marco Gentili, announced the adoption of two sisters, Natacha and Sharlyn, aged 10 and 9, from Costa Rica. After a month-long process in Costa Rica to build a bond with the children, the family ~~prepared to return to Italy. Following their return~~ returned to their home in Fermo, Italy. This decision drew commentary from television host Caterina Balivo on the program ‘La volta buona’. Balivo appealed to parents against the overexposure of minors online, arguing that publishing children’s photos creates a digital identity for them without their consent and that parents have a responsibility to protect their privacy rather than seeking popularity through their likenesses.
