Bialystok University of Technology activities

Overview

Bialystok University of Technology has engaged in several academic and research initiatives. The university secured nearly 2 million PLN from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for the ESPO project, titled ‘ENERGIA społeczna – interdyscyplinarna platforma wspierająca rozwój lokalnych wspólnot energetycznych’. This multidisciplinary project aims to support Poland’s energy transformation by helping municipalities and local communities develop and manage local energy communities through a digital platform providing analytical and legal advisory functions.

Additionally, the university collaborated with European University Across to host a hybrid scientific seminar for International Open Access Week. The seminar addressed the implementation of Open Science, focusing on how sharing research data and results can enhance scientific visibility, facilitate interdisciplinary cooperation, and support economic and social development.
